Data & estimates
Know which numbers come from public store information and which are ASO Engine's own estimates.
Public store information
App names, developers, artwork, ratings, screenshots, and search-result order can be observed from public storefront information. Results can vary by country and change over time.
Modeled research signals
Keyword popularity, difficulty, target labels, download estimates, and revenue estimates are modeled indicators. They are not official Apple Search Ads popularity, verified installs, or audited sales figures.
Models can be wrong—especially for unusual terms, brand names, small niches, and storefronts with limited evidence. Treat a score as a reason to investigate, not a decision by itself.
Rankings are snapshots
A ranking reflects an observed search result for a term and storefront at a particular time. It is not a promise that every person will see the same result or that a ranking change was caused by one edit.
Using the data
Use ASO Engine to narrow a list of terms, inspect the apps already ranking, and compare changes over time. Validate important decisions against your own App Store Connect or Apple Ads data when available.
